Job Title: Teller – Urgently Hiring

Pay: $17.00+/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; Thursday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (38–40 hours/week)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Teller for a full-time, temp-to-hire position for our client, a respected financial institution located in Brewer, Maine. The Teller will provide excellent customer service while completing a variety of banking transactions. The Teller will contribute to a welcoming, professional environment where you can grow and thrive. This is a temp-to-hire position located in Brewer, Maine.

As a Teller, you will be responsible for:

• Processing deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.

• Counting cash, balancing drawers, and maintaining transaction accuracy.

• Assisting customers with account inquiries and general banking support.

• Providing administrative support, including answering phones and data entry.

• Following all bank policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

• Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• Cash handling and customer service experience (required).

• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.

• A keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency with computers and basic office technology.

• A positive attitude, honesty, and professional demeanor.

• The ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 15–20 lbs.
