Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Biddeford, ME. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering competitive pay and a stable Monday through Friday schedule.

• Safely unload raw materials from supplier trucks
• Receive and verify sheet materials against packing slips for accuracy and condition
• Tag sheet pallets with barcoded labels for tracking and traceability
• Organize and store materials using barcode scanning for inventory accuracy
• Locate and deliver materials to work centers as needed for production
• Maintain clean and organized stock racks and shop floor by consolidating materials
• Perform pre-use inspections and general maintenance on material-handling equipment
• Support inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and collaborating with buyers
• Assist with forklift evaluations and safety observations
• Manage scrap, trash, recycling, and pallet inventories
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and production goals  

• Proven experience operating a forklift (certification preferred)
• Familiarity with inventory systems and barcode scanning
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
