Job Title: General Labor – Urgently Hiring!

We are seeking a General Labor associate for a full-time, temp-to-hire position with our client, a well-established and inclusive manufacturing company located in Winthrop, Maine. The General Labor employee will assist with the production of filtration belts, handle materials, support machine operators, and prepare products for shipment. The General Labor employee thrives in a fast-paced, physical environment and contributes to a team-focused atmosphere. As a General Labor associate, you will be responsible for:

• Assist in the production of filtration belts

• Pull, prep, and transfer materials between workstations

• Square belts and assist stitchers with moving belts as needed

• Load and unload cardboard tubes

• Prep and package belts for shipping

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Follow safety protocols and company procedures

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments

• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately

• Strong work ethic and willingness to be hands-on

• A go-getter attitude with a focus on teamwork and reliability

• Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly

• Ability to kneel, stand, and move throughout the shift
