Bonney Staffing has partnered with a local company seeking dedicated and motivated individuals for Picking & Packing Associates in their Warehouse! 

The Picking & Packing Associate is responsible for picking and/or packing orders, label printing, inspecting products for orders, and utilizing specific equipment to pick, pack, and kit products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.

This is a full-time, permanent position located in Saco, Maine.

Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 Am to 5:45 - Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday OR Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Sunday

The ability to work Sunday is required at this time.

• Pay Rate: $18/Hr.

$1.50/Hr. Shift Differential for Overnight Shift 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded.

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.

• May be required to operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.

• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.

• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.

• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets. Mark and label shipping boxes or products per DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.

• Report missing items or quality variances to direct supervisor.

• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.

• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.

• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

• Ensure the facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.

• Communicate and report any incidents.

• May perform housekeeping duties.

• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred, but not required

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required

• Basic computer skills

• Attention to detail

• Pass Background and Drug Screen
