Job Title: 2nd Shift TIG Welder 

Pay: $27/Hr. to $30/Hr., with 11% Shift Differential after Training  Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Training:  Training on 1st shift, 7am to 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a 2nd Shift TIG Welder for a position with our client, a manufacturing company located in Biddeford, ME. The Welder will be responsible for performing welding and brazing operations to join metals using various techniques. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of verifiable TIG welding experience and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position located in Biddeford, ME. As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

• Performing MIG and TIG welding and brazing operations on various metals.

• Fabricating components and assembling parts as required.

• Operating manual mill or lathe machines for machining operations.

• Troubleshooting issues that arise during weld-braze operations.

• Using the latest technology and equipment to ensure high-quality results.

• Understanding and following safety requirements and emergency procedures.

• Handling and processing hazardous waste in compliance with safety protocols.

• Completing required hazardous waste training and safety certifications.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 5+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience.

• 5+ years of experience with shop math skills, including trigonometry.

• 5+ Years of proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T

• Proficient with power tools, measuring instruments, and blueprints. Machining experience is a plus.

• Attentive to detail, able to follow safety and manufacturing procedures, strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

• None required, but welding certifications are a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
