Job Title: 2nd Shift TIG Welder
Pay: $27/Hr. to $30/Hr., with 11% Shift Differential after Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Training: Training on 1st shift, 7am to 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a 2nd Shift TIG Welder for a position with our client, a manufacturing company located in Biddeford, ME. The Welder will be responsible for performing welding and brazing operations to join metals using various techniques. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of verifiable TIG welding experience and a strong attention to detail. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position located in Biddeford, ME. As a Welder, you will be responsible for:Performing MIG and TIG welding and brazing operations on various metals.
Fabricating components and assembling parts as required.
Operating manual mill or lathe machines for machining operations.
Troubleshooting issues that arise during weld-braze operations.
Using the latest technology and equipment to ensure high-quality results.
Understanding and following safety requirements and emergency procedures.
Handling and processing hazardous waste in compliance with safety protocols.
Completing required hazardous waste training and safety certifications.
High school diploma or GED.
5+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
5+ years of experience with shop math skills, including trigonometry.
5+ Years of proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
Proficient with power tools, measuring instruments, and blueprints. Machining experience is a plus.
Attentive to detail, able to follow safety and manufacturing procedures, strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
None required, but welding certifications are a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
