Job Title: Custodian – Urgently Hiring!

We are seeking a Custodian for a full-time position for our client, a well-established institution located in Standish, ME. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors. Success in this role means demonstrating attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude while performing daily custodial tasks.

As a Custodian, you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, washing floors, and collecting trash.
• Stocking restrooms and ensuring all areas are properly sanitized.
• Setting up for events and assisting with minor repairs.
• Identifying and responding to safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Working professionally with staff, vendors, and team members.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience (preferred).
• A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with floor extraction or refinishing (a major plus!).
• A valid driver's license.
