Installation Technician: Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM  to 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour, depending on experience and background Start Date: ASAP    We are seeking a Installation Technician for a full-time position for our client, a local communication solutions company that offers innovative products and technology for public service and commercial industries, located in Portsmouth, NH. The Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of fixed infrastructure and radio systems under the direction of a supervisor. The Installation Technician will have a solid understanding of electronics, wiring, and hand tools. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong technical aptitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This is a full-time position with no nights or weekend work, located in Portsmouth, NH. As a Installation Technician you will be responsible for:

• Installation and maintenance of radio systems and equipment
• Driving to customer sites to do preventative maintenance and repairs. 
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment to find issues. 

  The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience running cables, installing and repairing telecommunication equipment highly preferred
• Must be able to use hand and power tools
• Drivers license required
• Background in electronics or IT preferred 
• Must have great customer service skills
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Must not be afraid of heights as most work is done on roof tops, on ladders or in man lifts
• Great attention to detail and problem solving skills
