Job Title: Receiving & Inventory Specialist (International) 

Pay: $24/Hr. to $35/Hr., based on experience  Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Receiving & Inventory Specialist (International) for a Temp-to-Hire position for our client, a leading company in the shipping and receiving sector, located in Biddeford, ME. The Receiving & Inventory Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing documented procedures for receiving, incoming inspection, RMAs, audit cycle counts, and overseeing the incoming activities of shipments. This role also involves managing inventory accuracy and ensuring the safe handling of hazardous materials. Success in this position will require attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. This is a Temp to Hire position located in Biddeford. As a Receiving & Inventory Specialist (International), you will be responsible for:
  • Creating and implementing documented procedures for receiving, incoming inspection, RMAs, and audit cycle counts.

  • Overseeing incoming activities such as unloading, unpacking, and examining inbound shipments from vendors and customers.

  • Verifying that all required documentation is included and accurate for each shipment.

  • Tracking and recording information in the company’s ERP system and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

  • Routing materials to the proper department or inventory location.

  • Managing inventory accuracy and integrity.

  • Supporting manufacturing with supplies and materials as needed.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety requirements and emergency procedures for hazardous materials handling.

  • Completing hazardous waste training as required.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 3 years of inventory/warehouse experience preferred.

  • Good reading and writing skills.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Experience in an ERP system, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to perform duties in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • Forklift operation experience.

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Attentive to details and able to follow all safety and operating procedures.
