We are seeking a
Temporary Diabetic Team Customer Service Specialist for a
temporary position covering medical LOAs for our client, a leading
healthcare provider located in
Auburn, Maine. This is a temporary position with the potential for future opportunities. The
Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to diabetic customers and processing orders efficiently and accurately. You’ll play a key role in supporting our client's team while providing the highest level of customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
As a
Temporary Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately receiving and processing diabetic customers' resupply orders in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Providing an exceptional level of service by answering customer inquiries and order requests through phone calls and emails.
- Renewing prescriptions by accurately documenting and processing requests in the patient management system.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and insurance policies and procedures in all customer interactions.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors regarding customer status or environment changes.
- Updating and entering new doctor records and customer insurance information.
- Handling customer complaints per company policy and ensuring the timely resolution.
- Collecting payments and ensuring financial responsibility is communicated clearly to customers.
- Maintaining confidentiality of customer and company information in compliance with HIPAA and Medical policies.
- Adapting to changes in work processes and effectively handling a high-volume workload.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of clerical or medical office experience
- Experience in customer service, with a strong focus on communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong customer-focused attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
- Experience with general office skills (typing, faxing, filing, and phone) and basic PC knowledge (Microsoft Office, email, and internet)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
