Job Title: Welder – Urgently Hiring

We are seeking a Welder for a temp-to-hire position for our client, a manufacturing company located in Biddeford, ME. The Welder will support production by performing welding, machining, and metal fabrication tasks. The Welder will succeed in this role by demonstrating precision, efficiency, and teamwork while maintaining high-quality work standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing role located in Biddeford, ME.

• Performing TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and job instructions to complete custom metal forming and welding tasks.
• Operating machining tools, including a drill press, grinder, saw, mill, radial arm, and lathe.
• Maintaining inventory and requesting materials for metal fabrication projects.
• Keeping accurate records and documentation for project inspections.
• Collaborating with Production and Engineering teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Training other employees on metal lathe and machining tools as needed.
• Keeping a clean and safe workspace.

• At least 5 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for retrieving and inputting data.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and woodworking tools is a plus.
