Job Title: Retail Associates - Cashier & Stocker

Pay: Starting at $17/Hr, more depending on experience Schedule: Between the hours of Monday to Friday 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM, one weekend day required, PT or FT Available Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Retail Associate for a Cashier or Stocking position for our client, located in Scarborough, ME. The Retail Associate will focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the store. This is a temp to hire position located in Scarborough, ME As a Cashier, you will be responsible for:

• Handle cashiering duties for approximately 5 hours per day, processing customer transactions accurately.

• Perform minimal stocking and cleaning during slower periods.

• Ensure accurate data entry and handle pricing adjustments for products.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service during checkout.

As a Stocker, you will be responsible for:

• Unpack pallets and use a manual pallet jack to transport merchandise.

• Price items manually using a pricing gun.

• Cross-check prices in the database and apply them to items.

• Organize and maintain stock on shelves, ensuring shelves are neat and well-stocked.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Retail experience is helpful but not required; a strong customer service attitude is essential.

• Previous experience with data entry and cash register operations is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

• Solid typing/data entry skills.

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfort with fast-paced work and frequent re-prioritization of tasks.

• Weekend availability is required (PT, FT, or weekends-only positions available).

• Ability to stand all day, with regular walking and lifting; micro-stretching is required throughout the day for comfort and well-being.
