Bonney Staffing has partnered with a local company to fill two Machinist I positions for CNC Lathes, Spray, and Bonding Turning Machines. This role is ideal for experienced machinists looking for a leadership position and the opportunity to advance to a supervisor role in the next year. • Pay Rate: Starting at $24/Hr., more based on experience 

• Schedule: 

  • 1st Shift, 6:00 AM / 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM / 4:00 PM

  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 11 / 11:30 PM

• Start Date: ASAP

• 5+ years of Lathe Machinist experience.

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a lathe machining cell or department.

• Strong understanding of shop math, including trigonometry.

• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.

• Excellent communication skills and experience in training and mentoring.

• Use conventional and CNC machine tools to perform machining operations.

• Lead and assist in determining work procedures, tools, and equipment to be used, as well as raw stock types and machining sequences.

• Work from blueprints, sketches, and other specifications.

• Perform job setups and ensure machine tool alignment to meet required tolerances.

• Help establish dimensions and angles for parts, ensuring proper layout for job setups.

• Use machine tools and attachments to adapt equipment for unique tasks, including machining curved surfaces and special configurations.

• Produce cuts and finishes on a variety of materials (metals, plastics, etc.) with a focus on precision and quality.
