The Preschool Teacher job in Lewiston, Maine is responsible for caring for children ages 2.5 - 4-years old and collaborating on daily and weekly lesson plans. You’ll need a solid understanding of childcare, curriculum development, and fostering a nurturing environment. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. • High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred 
• Minimum 1 year of childcare experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and share responsibilities in a structured curriculum environment
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and reliability are essential
• Ability to remain active throughout the day and engage children in hands-on learning
• Multilingual abilities (e.g., dual-language skills) are a plus
• Ability to pass Fingerprinting and Background check 

Early Childhood Educator Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay Rate:
  • $16–$17 per hour / High School Diploma & childcare experience
  • $17–$18 per hour / Associate’s degree
  • $18–$20 per hour / Bachelor’s degree
• Start Date: ASAP
