The Stitcher job in Auburn, Maine is responsible for utilizing industrial single needle and Double needle sewing machines. You’ll have a solid understanding of hand stitching, changing needles and bobbins. You will be expected to cross train and work in different departments to support production needs. This is a full-time, long term, 1st shift position.   Stitcher Qualifications: 

• High School Graduate or GED
• Previous experience stitching leather is required
• Ability to reach 12-18 inches.
• Capable of sitting, standing, or walking for full shifts.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Preferred experience in Quality Control and Inspection.
• Good manual dexterity and skilled with hands.
• Positive and flexible attitude, thriving in team environments.
• Ability to pass a background and Drug screen
• Ability to speak, read & write the English language

Stitcher Details: 

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm & occasional mandatory OT on Fridays 6-12
• Pay Rate: $18/hr
• Start Date: ASAP
