The
Facilities Maintenance job in
Auburn, Maine is responsible for general building maintenance, including plumbing, window frames, changing air filters, tiling, and handyman duties. The role also involves occasional shoveling and basic custodial tasks as needed. You'll work around the inmates' location schedule, ensuring minimal interaction. As the building is old, frequent fixes are required. You’ll need to be a self-driven individual who is dependable and comfortable wearing a tool belt. This is a full-time, long term position, working Monday-Friday.
Facilities Maintenance Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance
- Experience with general plumbing and handyman tools required
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds, bend, lift, and twist
- Strong sense of dependability
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal interaction with building occupants
- Ability to perform custodial duties as needed
Facilities Maintenance Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $20+ per hour, depending on experience
- Start Date: ASAP
