Job Title: Coating Machine Assistant 

Pay Range: $19/hour Work Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• Hours for a brief training period may be on day shift or a 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM schedule

Bonney Staffing is seeking a dedicated Coating Machine Assistant for a leading company in Windham, Maine. In this full-time role, you will assist the Coating Machine Operator in the operation of a Coating machine, and help set up line equipment, label cases, package products, and ensure quality control. Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to follow safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the turret end of the machine accurately and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Review job sheets for specific job details including roll diameter, stock numbers, and special labeling instructions.
• Inspect printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Retrieve supplies and materials needed for the machine and operator.
• Ensure quality control by checking ink stripes, roll diameters, and packaging.
• Clean and lubricate machines and components as needed.
• Assemble and label boxes with accuracy for shipping custom and stock items.
• Follow standard safety procedures and maintain cleanliness around the machine.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for long periods, frequently lift 21-50 lbs, and occasionally lift over 100 lbs.
• Frequent bending, squatting, reaching above shoulder level, and handling.
