Job Title: Production Worker

Pay: $18.00/hour Hours: 1st Shift - 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday Start Date: ASAP

What You’ll Do:

As a Production Worker, you will:

• Perform prep, lasting, inspection, and finishing tasks to support production flow.
• Prepare materials necessary for manufacturing processes.
• Operate programmable machinery used in shoe production.
• Execute manual tasks including shoe lasting operations with precision.
• Insert leather uppers into clamping devices attached to machinery.
• Read and interpret production tags accurately to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain consistent quality and accuracy throughout your work, supporting team efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach within 12–18 inches for a full shift (non-sewing roles).
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• A positive and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo a background check, drug screening, and sign confidentiality agreements prior to permanent hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in quality control or inspection.
• Prior experience in footwear or apparel manufacturing.
• Stitching or sewing experience (higher pay range available).

Location & Schedule:

This position is on-site in Auburn, ME. The standard lasting role schedule is 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays. Weekends are off, providing a consistent work-life schedule.
