QA / UAT User Acceptance Tester - Long-term Contractor For our direct client, a prestigious global firm located in Northern New Jersey, we are seek an experienced UAT Tester to join the client’s development and QA team on a long-term, hybrid contract. The role requires 1–3 days per week onsite and focuses on validating new functionality to ensure software performs as designed and delivers a strong end-user experience at rollout.   Initial 9-month contract with likely extension beyond!   Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues • Document and report bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing • Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues • Participate in user acceptance testing sessions to gather feedback and validate software against user requirements • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment. Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Proven experience as a User Acceptance Tester or similar role • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies • Prior professional services or financial services industry experience is a plus Immediate interview and hire - send resume today for immediate consideration!
