Hey Friends!

I'm Mandi- a labor and delivery nurse turned recruiter. I love to spend time with my friends and family and my little dog too. I love live music and being outdoors. I grew up in central Nebraska and after traveling have settled back into Lincoln, NE so we can be closer to friends and family.

As a recruiter, I've tried to model the way I work off of the golden rule- "Recruit how you'd like to be recruited." When I was traveling I wanted someone who was honest, knowledgeable, low pressure and made me feel like I was a priority and a person- not just a number. My goal is to make sure my travelers feel comfortable with me and the whole process and to feel like they know all the things so that they can make the best decision for them.

Why I love to recruit
I absolutely loved my time traveling. Getting to go to new places and experience them for more than just a long weekend was SO much fun and such a unique experience. Working with different physicians, nurses, policies and hospitals helped me to grow in my own nursing practice and gain so much experience in such a short time. And now my JOB is to help others get to go and do that.

When I'm not working I like to
I love to be outside- hiking, fishing, gardening. If I'm not outside, you can find me on the couch reading or netflix binging.

I’ve worked with Mandi for over a year, and she is absolutely the best recruiter! She is never pushy (such a turn off, especially when being hounded by tons of recruiters even from the same company just because you did a job search). She understands what jobs and areas I’m looking for. She always answers my questions or relieves my concerns in a timely manner. Plus, she has first hand experience of being a travel nurse, which gives me great confidence in knowing she just “gets it”.

About Mandi Simants:

Our first contact was amazing. Even though at the time I was working with a different agency, she was still kind, transparent, provided questions that I should ask my agency and during an interview, and quick to respond. She stated that she has experience as a nurse both traveling and with a home base, so she could relate to everything I was going through. Just recently my contract was cancelled on short notice with the hospital due to low census. I called Mandi, not only was she able to calm me down, but within minutes she had sent over three pages of options of locations close to where I had relocated. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to work with her.
