Astute’s Power team is partnering with leading Waste Management Company a to recruit a Commercial Manager on a 12-month contract to work on a Deposit Return Scheme across the North of England.
The Commercial Manager role comes with a rate between £400-£500 per day (INSIDE IR35).
Key skills
- Provide commercial and quantity surveying support across the DRS programme.
- Manage commercial performance across multiple projects and work packages.
- Prepare, review and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
- Manage contractor valuations, applications, variations and change control.
- Support procurement and contract management activities.
- Monitor project costs against agreed budgets and programmes.
- Manage commercial risks and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Support the Project Managers with commercial advice and reporting.
- Review contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Support the delivery of small works and larger infrastructure upgrade packages.
- Provide commercial input throughout project mobilisation, delivery and handover.
