About Kelly

Kelly's Bio

As a Power Generation Talent Specialist at Astute People, I specialise in connecting skilled professionals with high-impact roles across the power generation, energy, and engineering sectors. I recruit for a wide range of technical and operational positions, including engineers, technicians, maintenance professionals, and project managers within the UK power industry.

With over a decade of experience in customer service, team leadership, and operational management across sectors such as estate agency, hospitality, and social support, I bring a people-first approach to recruitment. My BA in Business & Administration and hands-on experience managing fast-paced environments have shaped my strengths in organisation, communication, and problem-solving.

Whether you’re a candidate looking to take the next step in your energy sector career, or a hiring manager in need of expert support to source hard-to-find technical talent, I’m here to help. I pride myself on delivering an honest, supportive, and responsive service that’s earned me 20+ reviews, 4.73⭐, and 85% 'Highly Recommended' status on Great Recruiters.

I’m particularly passionate about renewable energy, power station operations, and working with ambitious businesses that are driving the energy transition forward.

About Kelly Chappell:

Start to finish, Kelly was excellent. She even ensured I had support when she took some leave (thanks Ruth!) But Kelly's approach was thorough and professional and with her help I was able to land a role with a considerably shorter commute and increased wage. Thank you Kelly!
