Astute's Strategic Division are currently recruiting for an Electrical Quality Inspector to join the EPC Contractor on a new build Data Centre in Central Belgium on an initial 4 months contract basis.
The Electrical Quality Inspector position come with a day rate from €650.00 to €750.00 per day AOR / EOR. Accommodation will be provided.
Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:
- Carry out electrical quality inspections across site installations.
- Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, drawings, standards, ITPs and quality requirements.
- Complete regular site walkdowns and identify defects, snags and non-conformances.
- Review First of Kind installations and agreed quality benchmarks.
- Complete and maintain electrical inspection records, test packs and quality documentation.
- Ensure project quality databases and management systems are accurate and kept up to date.
- Coordinate system walkdowns, snagging and handover activities with construction teams.
- Monitor snag trends and escalate recurring quality issues to the QA/QC Lead.
- Ensure subcontractors and third-party contractors meet project QA/QC requirements.
- Oversee third-party electrical inspections where required.
- Support system completion, tagging and final handover documentation.
- Attend quality meetings with project management, construction teams and subcontractors.
- Liaise with Electrical QA/QC Leads and Engineers on technical and quality matters.
- Provide site support across Ireland and mainland Europe where required, once the project in Belgium is handed over.
