Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading EPC company within the Energy from Waste sector to recruit an Electrical Site Supervisor for its Slough site on a contract basis.

Responsibilities and duties:
As Electrical Site Supervisor you will:

Carry out Electrical works on site, this will include working on High Voltage systems.

Supervise subcontractors on site, ensure their work is completed to the required standard and in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensure works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time and budget requirements

Demonstrate leadership regarding HSEQ on site, actively encourages and leads others to comply with project HSEQ requirements

Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are reviewed and subsequent works are carried out in accordance to them.

Keep the Site Manager informed of activities on site and progress change requests (technical, time and costs).

Deliver ‘Lessons Learned’ to benefit future projects
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
An Electrical Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or Degree
-
SSSTS / SCS or similar valid Safety Contractors Certificate
-
Experience supervising construction of a large industrial plant
-
Knowledge of Pressure Parts, ATEX knowledge and experience on High Voltage (11kV / 33kV) equipment
-
Relevant HSEQ knowledge relevant to industrial construction sites
