Astute’s Renewables Team is working on behalf of CCL (ConstructionCrew Ltd), a progressive and growing renewable energy company, that specialise in anaerobic digestion, offering comprehensive services in construction, maintenance, fabrication and insulation. We are looking to recruit a Team Supervisor to oversee anaerobic digestion/biogas service operations, based commutable distance from their Wigan office with flexibility to work nationwide.
The Team Supervisor role comes with an hourly rate of £18.00 - £22.00 per hour (40 – 60 hours), offering excellent professional development and progression opportunities with expenses and accommodation paid.

Responsibilities and duties of the Team Supervisor role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:

Supervise and lead a team of technicians, providing training and ongoing mentorship.

Oversee and coordinate construction activities, and other services provided as per project scope, including maintenance, fabrication, pipework and insulation activities.

Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Monitor and analyse performance data to drive improvements and implement best practices.

Coordinate with senior management to align with project deadlines and quality objectives.

Report regularly on operational performance and project progress to senior leadership.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Experience in the anaerobic digestion sector, with in-depth knowledge of the processes and technologies.

Strong background in leadership, with previous experience in supervisory or managerial roles.

Technically qualified, holding relevant certifications in anaerobic digestion or related disciplines.

Experience managing construction or maintenance activities.

Holds a UK driving license.
Personal skills
The Team Supervisor role would suit someone who is:

Flexible to travel nationwide, with overnight stays Monday – Friday (depending on project location).

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Experienced or have no issues with working in dirtier and smellier environments.
