Responsibilities and duties of the Biogas Shift Operator role
Reporting to the Process Team Leader you will:

Operating Anaerobic Digestion plant and associated equipment via a combination of automated (SCADA) and manual inputs

Carrying out regular plant walkarounds to assess condition and capability of plant equipment. This includes the taking of meter readings daily.

Complete minor maintenance tasks and record any findings on CMMS
-
Carry out basic lab testing
-
Operate mobile plant such a telehandler or forklift truck

Ensure good standards of housekeeping are maintained
-
Monitor the plant remotely once trained and competent
-
Other duties as required
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
Minimum of NC level in related engineering discipline (mechanical/electrical/chemical, engineering practice) or equivalent qualifications backed up with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in an operations process operator role

A full UK Driving Licence (essential)
