partnering a global leader in technical services, FM and energy solutions to recruit a SHEQ Manager to join their Manchester team to support a variety of ongoing commercial projects.
The SHEQ Manager role comes with a salary up to £55,000 + car allowance and excellent company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
As the SHEQ Manager
you will:
- Ensure equal SHEQ support across all service areas and efficiently manage allocated resource.
- Capture and analyse SHEQ performance data to develop and implement improvement plans, also liaising with service Directors to develop strategies.
- Provide technical, legal and other guidance to the region as needed, collaborating with operational teams to standardise practices.
- Assist in Implementing and maintaining ISO standards and systems.
- Monitor and manage regional SHEQ systems, conducting active monitoring and auditing with feedback.
- Manage incidents and coordinate detailed reports, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
- Liaise with the HSE, Environment Agency, insurers and other bodies during major incidents as required.
- Collaborate with broader team to analyse trends in practices.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A recognised H&S qualification, at minimum NEBOSH certificate level.
- Currently pursuing NEBOSH Diploma in H&S/ Environmental Management or equivalent.
- Recognised M&E certificate/ CITB.
Personal skills
The SHEQ Manager role would suit someone who is:
- Experience managing major SHE incidents.
- Experience in development and implementation of safety management systems.
- Knowledge of SHEQ activities across construction, ideally FM background.
- Flexible to travel and occasionally stay away as required.
Salary and benefits of the SHEQ Manager role
- Salary between £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE).
