The Fuel Reception Operative role comes with a salary of up to £34,000 + benefits.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Shift Team Leader you will:

·       Support the Shift Technician with the safe and efficient operation of the plant during normalised running hours and also during start-up/shut-down procedures.

·       Conduct regular site inspections/walk rounds to ensure the plant is operating as intended.

·       Report of incidents in a timely manner

·       Carry out first line maintenance.

·       Drive and operating a range of mobile plant including forklift trucks, front loading shovel and excavators etc.

·       Ensure compliance with the Environmental Permit and H&S Legislation

 

 

 

Professional qualifications

 

We are looking for someone with the following:

·       Ideally an engineering related qualification at C&G/NVQ/ONC level. Royal Navy Junior Engineers would also be a good fit ET/LET level.

·       Experience working in a heavy process environment such as Power Station, Biomass, Aggregate/Tarmac/Cement Works, Steel Works, Paper Mill etc.

·       Experience in the operation of mobile plant would be an advantage.

·       Experience working to Safe Systems of Work/Safety Rules
