Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 D.O.E
Introduction
The Site Project Engineer will be responsible for producing all technical solutions, designs and engineering of all onsite lifting operations, receiving transportation, loadouts, marine transportations and load-ins. You will work as part of the team within the Nuclear Business Unit to deliver turnkey logistics solutions to the client throughout the UK and Europe.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Site Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Using your expertise to devise smart engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transportation projects.

Design and production of engineering drawings for the safe execution of projects methodologies

Conducting site visits to provide conceptual solutions for lifting operations, as well as assessing and overseeing execution of ongoing jacking/skidding operations

Developing drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and other key documents

Ensuring high levels of document quality and document control throughout the lifecycle of the project, producing Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other key documents

Ensuring projects are delivered to outstanding HSEQ requirements

Preparing and selecting both existing and renewed engineering statements
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline or demonstrable industry experience

CSCS Appointed Person
-
Ability to produce well-structured design calculations and reports
-
Experience in heavy lift transport, shipping or lifting markets, with evidence of delivering targets and achieving objectives

Experience in temporary works design, structural design and analysis, problem solving from first principles

Extensive experience in engineering of hydraulic gantry installations and crane lifting projects
