This Document Controller role is offered on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with strong potential to extend in line with the project duration (up to 2 years). The role offers a salary starting from £30,000+, depending on experience (with flexibility for the right candidate).

Responsibilities and duties of the Document Controller role
Within this role, you will:
- Act as the primary Document Controller on a major construction project
- Manage and maintain document control systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Handle revision control of drawings and documentation, ensuring all records are up to date
- Scan, upload, and organise documents within the project’s DMS
- Maintain trackers, logs, and reporting dashboards for document control processes
- Support and guide project teams in using document management systems effectively
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector
- Strong experience handling revisable records and drawings
- Familiarity with document management systems such as Cemar, Asite, or similar DMS platforms
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
