Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a fully integrated solution provider that delivers a wide spectrum of services across project lifecycles to the nuclear and defence sectors to recruit a Fitter for a major nuclear client site near the Greater Reading area.
The Fitter role comes with an hourly rate of £34, and accommodation allowance (£250 a week) depending on your situation.
Key skills required for the Fitter role

Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting.

Demonstrable experience in mechanical fitting within highly regulated environments (e.g., nuclear, defence, petrochemical).

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.

Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to site each day
