Day to day part of the role – driven by planned, 3 panners in CR, plan PPM work and corrective work. Keep engineers working within their areas to minimise travel. Planners manage day to day, parts get shipped to hub / site, have vans and equipment to go.

Travel requirements – under 100 miles radius each person. Needs to focus on the area to keep costs down

Clarke, Edina, Infinis – gas safe training would be good, OEM, NTU, Lieber, gas engine work background.

Call out – only days callout. 1in4, covering weekends and days, BHs. 1.5x Sat and 2x sun payment. Allowance, 2 hours on the day, or TOIL can be chosen.

Quals – gas safe, level 3 MTU training course, £5k course.

Open to Navy / Army background but find sometimes struggle to think of their feet.

Avg week – mid to late 40 hours, late 50s/60 max for week on call. Do their best to work around family commitments etc.

Paid from door to door,

Basic salary – hourly rate, £21p/h

5/5% pension matched. Salary sacrifice to put in more pre-tax.

Progression – diverse team, want to move teams or move to projects or sales there are options. Area lead engineers – options for progress. Technical and more specialist roles available too.
