Business Development Manager - Data Centers
PERMANENT
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at Data Centre developers, EPC contractors, and hyperscale operators.
  • Build partnerships early in the planning stages of DC development.
  • Develop a sales pipeline focused on energy infrastructure needs (e.g. resilient power, carbon reduction, energy efficiency).
  • Understand and influence energy concept designs.
  • Coordinate technical teams for solution design and proposals.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to DC clients (hyperscale, colocation, edge).
  • Track and respond to industry trends, including demand for low-carbon and grid-independent solutions.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and relevant networks.
Your Profile
  • Strong track record in business development within energy, power systems, CHP, HVAC, or DC infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of the UK Data Centre market – especially site development and energy needs.
  • Network in the DC ecosystem (developers, planners, EPCs, consultants).
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on approach and deal-making ability.
  • Excellent communication and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Technical background a plus (mechanical/electrical engineering or related).
