Rob called me about the job role and spec. Within 48hrs I had an interview and the same day offered the role. I have accepted the role and Rob has from the start of the process, given me support, good time line management, Email and follow up telephone calls all the way through the Process from start to finish.
I would certainly be passing my colleagues Robs contact details.
He first took the initiative in approaching me about another role months ago. It wasn’t a good enough match for my needs. When he contacted me about this role, I was surprised to hear from him and more surprised by some of the details he had remembered about me. He has a positive, engaging style and the flow of the discussions always left me with the impression that he had actively listened to my responses. There were only a few occasions when I had to correct his what he was feeding back to me during our discussions. He was mostly very quick to respond however we did have a few challenges connecting with each other sometimes out of ‘normal’ office hours. I think I had too many numbers and may not have been using the right one at the right time.
He was generous with his advice and support on the client, the process and the best way to approach the interviews/discussion with the client. He was obviously persuasive with the client in terms of setting up interviews around my unavoidable, immovable commitments. He was cautious about the client’s willingness to flex the package on minimum salary so much so that I thought there was no chance. I was surprised when he came back and advised that this wasn’t an issue - I wonder if he learned something about his client from that? Maybe the Astute review covers lessons from campaigns?
He has shown patience, resilience and determination. His interpersonal skills, particularly his attention to remembering small personal details and willingness to offer advice and support inspired confidence. We are at the stage where the rest of the negotiation on the package is best done between me and the client. I’ve got no experience in this part of the process and whilst it’s right that the conversation is between us, I would have liked more sense of where to pitch a reasonable but beneficial opening request. I realise this is tricky because the client is looking for a consultant that provides value. I have already said to R that if this doesn’t work out, I’d happily work with him as a candidate in future. He’s exceeded my experience of working with consultants in the past 6 years.
Rob was very good, he followed up as soon as he could with feedback from the company and the interviews I had. Very pleasant to deal with and would certainly recommend to deal with him in future.
Rob was patient, approachable, and I felt that I could have open and frank conversations with them. Rob secured an interview for me with a client, without any faff or delay. Although the fit with this particular vacancy wasn't right for me, I felt that Rob provided an excellent experience throughout.
Rob has guided me through the processes of the job opportunity, supplied me everything I needed for the interview.
Rob sorted out an invitation error on the last minuet to enable the interview to go ahead as scheduled.
More than happy with his services.

Bill
Rob asked me some very astute questions and with this information, he was able to secure me a job interview within an industry and a company that I'd like to work with.
In a nutshell, Rob was the most competent recruiter I have ever worked with.
