Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector who are looking to recruit a System Coordinator / Deputy Commissioning Manager on a 12-month contract basis.
Key skills required for the System Coordinator / Deputy Commissioning Manager

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinate and collaboration with other disciplines, such as electrical, I&C, operations, mechanicals, etc.

Coordinating with the site LOTO responsible Senior Authorized Person.

Permit to work request and the legal certifications knowledge to achieve the MEC reports & readiness reports.

Review and monitor the subcontracts commissioning activities, review and approve the commissioning procedures.

Must be a Mechanical or Electrical engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the commissioning of thermal power plants, EFW or similar.

Must have experience as being responsible for coordinating commissioning systems, coordinating operation of systems to start-up / shut down plants.
