Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Quality Electrical Engineer on a 8 month minimum contract basis for its West Midlands site for an immediate start.
The Quality Electrical Engineer role comes with a day rate of £450.
Key skills required for the Quality Electrical Engineer role

Oversee and monitor Quality Plans of subcontractors and EPC

Review and approve subcontractors Technical Procedures
-
Oversee subcontractors ITPs
-
Oversee subcontractors EC&I testing
-
Complete Quality audits to subcontractors and supplier’s installations

Assemble electrical Final Quality Dossiers
-
Detect, submit, and monitor non-conformities
-
Liaise with Client Electrical Engineer

Must have electrical engineering knowledge and experience

Knowledge of DSEAR / ATEX compliance
-
Ideally have experience in the Energy from Waste (EFW) new build sector or similar
