Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading Principal Contractor in the Energy from Waste sector. They are looking to recruit a Commissioning STL/Operator for its site in Essex.
The Commissioning Shift Team Leader / Operator role comes with a day rate of £500.
Key skills required for the Commissioning STL / Operator

Lead HSEQ Compliance: Promote and enforce HSEQ standards, ensuring safety risks are identified and mitigated across all operations.

Shift Operations & Supervision: Operate, monitor, and maintain systems during shifts, while supervising client and contractor teams on-site.

Permit & Documentation Management: Prepare work permits, system isolations, and maintain detailed shift logs and RAMS compliance.

Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the Commissioning Team and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth, on-schedule execution.

Training & Continuous Improvement: Deliver hands-on training to client staff and contribute to process optimization and Lessons Learned
