Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading sub-contractor in the Energy from Waste sector. They are looking to recruit 6 x Sheet Metal Workers on a 3-month minimum contract for its site in Essex.
The Sheet Metal Worker role comes with a competitive hourly rate.
Key skills required for the Sheet Metal Worker role

Required to carry out boiler cladding works

Must be able to work with trapezoidal and flat sheet metal

Able to perform various finishing tasks such as corners and hatches

Must have a solid understanding of sheet metal work

Must hold a valid VCA or CSCS Card, Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheels & Manual Handling Certificate

Must also hold all PPE & relevant Tools such as Drill, Marking Measure Talmeter, Riveting & Universal Pliers, Special Wool Scissors, Wool Cutting Knife, AWL, Tape Measure, Offset cutting snips, Divider, Locking Grip Pliers, Square, Straps with buckle, Wire Tie Tool and Pincers.
