  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment.
  • Perform fault-finding and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and components as per specifications.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations (e.g., IEE wiring regulations).

  • Recognized electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)

Role responsibilities and key skills:

• Producing and updating CAD drawings for both mechanical and electrical systems, primarily using SolidWorks • Redlining project drawings and supporting ongoing design updates in collaboration with the project team • Working through a backlog of workshop drawings to ensure timely delivery • Coordinating with engineers and project leads to ensure drawings meet project requirements • Supporting project documentation and design control processes • Previous experience as a Draughtsman with expertise in mechanical drawings (electrical experience highly desirable) • Proficiency in SolidWorks and general CAD practices • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings • Ability to work independently and manage multiple drawing tasks • Flexible approach to work, supporting both project and workshop demands
