This is an 'Intelligent customer' role - guide design houses to provide the correct design - review and feedback on designs.

• Manage onsite  services to concurrent turn-key EPC Solar PV & Battery Storage projects in the UK.
• Ensuring quality control and contractual requirements are upheld.
• Maintain HSQE standards on site and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations.
• Reporting of quality control, progress and HSE.
• Coordinating contractors and sub-contractors on site.
• Preparing all documentation for project handover and O&M or safety file compilation.
• Manage logistics and materials and deliveries onsite.
• Communication between stakeholders: ICP, subcontractors, landowners, DNO’s client etc.

• MUST have Site Manager experience on Utility scale solar PV projects (40MW+).
• ‘Tracker’ mounting structure experience a plus.
• SMSTS trained.
• Black CSCS card preferable.
• NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).
• First Aid Trained a plus.
• German speaking a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on a number of site, staying locally for the construction phase.

• Carrying our routine inspections, maintenance and repair of Solar PV systems (roof top & ground mounted) across project sites.
• Identify problems and coordinate with service contractors.
• Coordinate with O&M staff and third party vendors to support project delivery.
• Review and report on O&M contractor reports relating to KPI’s; operation, availability, issues etc.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and communicate with third party vendors & clients to resolve issues.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with OEM requirements & specified warranty periods.
• Generating maintenance schedules and collecting tariff readings.
• Support finance and the wider business with invoices and escalations.

• Ideally degree qualified with an Engineering degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 5 – 8 years of experience in similar Solar PV projects
• Competent on Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
• Valid Dutch licence
• Fluent Dutch speaker
• Ability to work in Holland

Introduction

Roles & Responsibilities

As the Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of the MRF.
• Ensure maintenance targets and plans are achieved safely, economically and within the environmental limits of the plant.
• Assist with supervision of contractors, working alongside other functions as necessary.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and rectify as required.
• Use initiative and be pro-active and creative in problem solving.
• Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections.
• Ensure that all reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is effective and completed promptly.
• Ensure that all activities within the MRF are carried out in a safe manner, in line with the site’s procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Previous experience working within a process, production, or manufacturing environment.
• A good understanding of stock control, risk assessments and condition reports.
• In depth understanding of a strategic approach to engineering and maintenance.
• Strong health and safety understanding

How to Apply

•  Inspect and supervise the electrical installation inside and adjacent to the wind turbine generators. 
• Ensure all activities related to the SCADA installation and connection is completed and prepared for commissioning. 
• Follow all industry safety regulations for the site and ensure all works are compliant with HSE. 
• Perform the Quality Gate 23 Process and ensure sign off is complete by the Site Manager. 
• Support when needed during the commissioning and testing phases. 
• Complete any other relevant supportive duties for projects including but not exclusive to Quality Gate 4 and retro performance monitoring. 

• Certificate as a qualified electrician or qualified electrical worker.
• Valid First Aid would be an advantage. 
• HV and MV switching operation authorisation. 
• Working and Rescue from Height – from a renewables UK approved provider.

• Able to travel on a regular basis both UK and international when needed. 
• Able to demonstrate a practical and technical approach to operations. 

• Salary up to £45,000
