Solar Operations & Maintenance Project Manager Bristol £50k - £60k Basic + Benefits     Introduction Astute are proud to be partnered with a business that offer a range of services such as asset management technical support, financial and legal services to utility scale Solar PV, Wind and BESS projects. With a strategic growth plan in place, a new and exciting new opportunity now exists for a Solar O&M Project Manager to provide Project Management for the Solar O&M service within the Operations department to plan and execute a program of upgrade, repair and remediation work on a portfolio of operational solar farms.                          Roles & Responsibilities As the Solar O&M Project Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Manage a pipeline of Project work through all stages including identification, quotation, approval, scheduling, planning, execution, technical completion, de-snagging, invoicing and warranty claims.
  • Identify sources of new work from end of warranty inspections, maintenance inspection reports, serial defects and upgrade opportunities.
  • Forecast the team's long-term resource demand and supply. Action any imbalances.
  • Line managing a Site Manager(s) providing coaching, motivation and continuous improvement of quality standards.
  • Develop relationships with a selection of quality sub-contractors, managing their site works and providing timely feedback.
  • Draw up a consolidated ongoing Project Plan to identify the resources, materials, plant, procedures, costs and timeframes.
  • Execute the Project Plan following manufacturer's and warranty requirements, contract terms, quality systems, HSQE standards (including CDM) and best industry practice.
      Skills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
  • Managing a program of electrical and civil project work
  • working on solar sites
  • Producing project plans and programs
  • Managing solar sub-contractors
  • Delivering projects safely, on time and on budget
  • Relevant safety qualifications such as IOSH or SMSTS
