Astute is working in partnership with a global business that is a leading renewable energy fund investor and manager of projects throughout Western Europe. We’re looking for an Asset Manager to join the team who is ideally from a Wind background, but we’ll happily consider those from Solar too.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Associate Asset Director of Asset Management you will:

Overseeing the commercial and technical aspects of operational assets, focusing on identifying risks and opportunities.

Collaborating in due diligence efforts to identify and acquire assets for the portfolio.

Conducting comprehensive analysis of asset performance, utilizing diverse data sources, and communicating project progress to key internal and external stakeholders.

Implementing contractor KPIs and management processes to optimize contractor performance.

Ensuring timely provision of essential data, contracts, and consents to third-party asset management firms, enabling efficient project management on behalf of the client.

Assisting in project financing activities.

Serving as a liaison with landowners and stakeholders, representing the client as necessary.

Performing detailed technical analysis to determine factors and trends that impact production and asset life.

Managing any third-party contractors as and when required

Creating detailed customer reports on site performance and contractual compliance and giving recommendations to customers

Procurement – lead or support the procurement process for appointing contractors for specific individual works and for new O&M arrangements.

Providing technical advice to other parts of the business when required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

Asset management experience is essential.

Engineering degree is desirable.
-
Valid driving licence.
-
Experience in Renewables is desired.
Personal skills:
The Asset manager role would suit someone who is:

A skilled communicator who can communicate up and down the chain.

Ability to speak Nordic languages – Desirable not essential.
