Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a leading provider or EPC and O&M services for Solar and Battery Storage to recruit a Project Manager to work remotely, visiting sites to provide management of turn-key Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
The Project Manager is essential to the development of new build solar farms across the region, and comes with a salary up to £70,000, 12.5% Bonus, car allowance and more.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will:

Responsible for full life-cycle turn-key EPC projects, including requirements for budgeting, quality, and meeting strict deadlines.

Undertaking site visits to perform construction feasibility assessments, monitoring of progress, and reviewing of works carried out.

Liaising with key stakeholders, clients, ICP’s, DNO’s, subcontractors, and other parties relevant to project completion.

Management of engineering team, subcontractors, and suppliers, including supervision of site acceptance and commissioning tests.

Support the preparation of project tender information, additionally, preparing subcontractor or supplier specifications and scope of work.

Prepare progress reports and take ownership of budget reporting.

Maintain health & safety procedures, identifying any issues and escalating any potential risks to H&S, budget and project completion.

Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
BSc or higher in an engineering discipline or equivalent in a relevant field.

3 – 5 years’ demonstratable experience of utility scale solar PV.

Battery Storage experience is a plus.

Strong capability to manage multiple projects at any one time and delivering in line with timescales, budget, and quality.

The Project Manager role would suit someone who is:

Flexibility to travel to site when required, including overnight stay or longer.

Salary and benefits of the Project Manager role:

Salary from £60,000 - £70,000.
