About the role:

Renewables team is partnering with
a
leading renewable energy service provider who specialises in a range of EPC services including the development, construction, and operation of utility scale solar farms. Together we are looking for a Portfolio Manager to lead the daily management of a portfolio of large-scale solar farms throughout the UK.
The Project Manager role comes with a salary up to £40,000, plus bonus and competitive benefits, remote working with flexibility to attend office once a month.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Manager you will:

Day to day management of large-scale solar farms O&M contracts, including scheduling of planned and reactive maintenance.

Design and scheduling of preventative maintenance plans, including management of spare parts.

Manage strong relationships with all contractual parties.

Reporting O&M activities to client and management.

Development of opportunities, review of new O&M contracts and continual market research initiatives.

Management of contracts and insurance claims, including negotiations.

Financial reviews and forecasting.

Other duties as required.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent desirable.

Minimum 12 months experience in the renewable energy sector, working with solar PV.

A strong commercial background with O&M Portfolio Management/ Asset Management, Design or Project Management.
Personal skills:
The Portfolio Manager role would suit someone who is:

Previous experience with contract negotiations and contract management.

CRM/ ERP software experience.
-
SCADA software experience (Training provided)

Knowledge on a technical level or solar PV systems and components.
Salary and benefits of the Portfolio Manager role:

Salary up to £40,000, Depending on experience.

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.
