Introduction
Astute is working with one of the worlds market leading O&M service providers. Specialising in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operations & maintenance of large scale solar photovoltaic projects. With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record for outstanding services. Due to a structured growth plan, a new vacancy now exists for a Grid & BESS Tendering Manager to ensure adequate considerations are taken regarding grid connection and liaison with key stakeholders in the DNO/TSO environment, as well as in the definition and preparation of quotations and estimations for battery storage projects
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for:

Interact with ICP subcontractors to obtain relevant quotes based on the grid connection offers for projects under tender

Interrogate subcontractor offers for missing scope, deviations and cost improvements

Expand the base of civil and electrical subcontractors for battery storage projects

Develop a supplier database for key equipment

Support sales team in preparing tendering information for battery storage projects (civil and electrical package)

Support sales and engineering teams in preparing documentation packages and approach to subcontracted scope on a project-by-project basis
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
-
Experience with ICP contractors and ICP-related works (must)

Experience with battery storage projects (desirable)
-
Experience with solar projects (desirable)

Leadership and ownership on projects taken under control

Ability to work autonomously as well as with the team
