Introduction
Astute are working with one of the world’s leading O&M service providers. Specialising in large scale solar photovoltaic projects from the development phase through to operations and maintenance, they are now looking for a Site Manager to be responsible for the On site management of utility scale Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing works against quality and contractual requirements.
- Responsibility for ensuring the highest HSQE standards are always maintained on site and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations.
- Timely preparation of site HSE, progress and quality reporting.
- Coordination of subcontractors and all on site activities.
- Ensure site documentation is prepared and delivered for project handover and O&M or safety file compilation.
- Identify and escalate any risks to budget, programme or quality to Project Management team.
- Manage materials, logistics and deliveries on site.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.
- Experience with Renewable Energy technologies in the UK, preferably Solar PV and/or Battery Storage.
- SMSTS trained.
- Black CSCS card preferable.
- Strong preference for NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).
- First Aid trained a plus.
