Introduction
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the Projects and Engineering department for a market leading company within the Energy sector with innovative strategies in relation to decarbonisation and cleaner technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for…
- Deliver the project within the timescale and budget as per the company’s business plan.
- Coordinating with the EPC during the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of the plant as well as ensuring adherence and compliance with the contract terms.
- Manager and coordinate activities of the internal multi-disciplinary team of project engineers
- Regularly liaising with and managing all relevant stakeholders throughout the project
- Ensure a smooth handover to the operations and maintenance team including all relevant documentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline
- Chartered Engineer preferred or willing to work towards
- Proven experience working on Process, Power or large scale Industrial / Manufacturing plant.
- Proven experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholder interfaces across the full project life cycle using and managing EPC/EPCM Contractors
- Good knowledge, experience and understanding of different forms of Contracts
- Commercial and Financial acumen
