Astute are supporting a client who are a leader in the design, supply and installation of bespoke renewable technologies. With a structured growth plan in place, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solar PV Commissioning Engineer.
This is an ideal role for an experienced Solar PV Engineer looking for the next step in their career.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the O&M Technical Manager, you will be responsible for:

Testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems ensuring compliance to industry and company standards and regulations.

Working alongside multiple internal departments to ensure appropriate commissioning requirements are incorporated into projects and schedules of work.

Overseeing continuous improvement of methods and processes and implement measures where needed.

Bring consistency to the O&M and Ops departments by bridging the gap through the construction handover process.

Setting up and configuring monitoring platforms and routers on site.

Overseeing installations along side the Operations team to guarantee quality work.

Updating testing and commissioning schedules as well as testing/method statements and risk assessments.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience within Solar PV O&M (Wind or BESS also accepted)

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
-
Willing to travel and stay away if needed

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
