O&M Site Manager

Astute’s Power team is partnering with leading with a District Heating company to recruit an O&M Site Manager to work at their office in Greenwich, with occasional travel in London. The O&M Site Manager role comes with a starting salary of up to £50,000 + benefits package. If you’re an experienced District Heating professional, with experience organising workflow and operating remotely then upload your CV to apply today Responsibilities and duties of the O&M Site Manager role Reporting to the General Manager you will:  
  • Manage the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of multiple district heating and energy centre sites
  • Take full ownership of projects from adoption through to operational delivery, including input at bid and pricing stages
  • Oversee the transition of new heat networks into operation, implementing effective processes and procedures
  • Monitor site performance through data analysis, remote systems, and proactive maintenance planning
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, leading regular reporting and review meetings
  • Manage operational budgets, KPIs, and identify corrective works to improve system performance
  • Coordinate supply chain activities, specialist services, and call-out contracts
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new technical and commercial offerings
Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:  
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in engineering, operations management, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects (e.g. district heating, CHP, boilers, energy centres)
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, controls, and systems such as BMS/SCADA
  • Working towards or holding professional accreditation (e.g. CEng, IEng), with relevant health & safety knowledge (e.g. NEBOSH/IOSH)
