Electrical Technician
PERMANENT
due to expansion, Norco Group Ltd is looking for a skilled UPS Field Service Engineer/s to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Aberdeen, Scotland headquarters.
About the Role
Hours: fixed per annum with enhancements
Location: Aberdeen HQ, with onshore and offshore work as required
Travel: Includes overnight stays
Leadership: Supervision of trainee engineers

Key Responsibilities
? Onshore:
Battery system testing (Conductance/Internal Resistance/Discharge)
Routine UPS maintenance (including aged/obsolete equipment)
UPS installation & commissioning
Fault call/breakdown response
Report compilation & asset recommendations
? Offshore:
Commissioning & maintenance of industrial battery and UPS systems
UPS installation & commissioning
Fault call/breakdown response
Report compilation & asset recommendations
QHSE Commitment
All employees must comply with Norco Group and client Quality, Safety, and Environmental procedures and report any incidents or hazards promptly.
Skills & Qualifications:
HNC level or equivalent, or approved electrician, degree and advantage
Offshore experience & UPS product training advantageous
Familiarity with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations preferred
(Full product and equipment training provided)
