Responsibilities and duties of the Industrial Relations Manager role.
Reporting to the Project Director you will:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with unions, employee representatives, and key stakeholders

Lead the management of industrial relations matters, including negotiations, grievance handling, and dispute resolution

Advise project and operational teams on workforce policies, legislation, and best practice

Support workforce engagement strategies to foster a positive and collaborative culture

Monitor compliance with employment law, company procedures, and regulatory requirements

Provide guidance on workforce planning, contract negotiations, and collective bargaining agreements

Investigate and resolve workforce-related issues promptly and effectively

Collaborate with project teams to anticipate industrial relations risks and implement proactive solutions

Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior management

This role is working on-site in Seascale and will require a flexible working attitude.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Proven experience in industrial relations within construction, engineering, or nuclear sectors
