Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Managing Surveyor, you will:

Manage and administer NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and optimising project outcomes.

Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.

Prepare and submit valuations, claims, and variations in line with contractual requirements.

Support the preparation and agreement of final accounts with clients and subcontractors.

Mentor and guide junior Quantity Surveyors to support their professional development.

Liaise with project teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting and risk management.

Attend project meetings, providing commercial insights and updates.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding and experience with NEC contracts.

Proven ability to manage or mentor junior team members.

Qualifications are not essential but the following are advantageous:

Accredited courses by RICS, CIOB, or ICES.

A degree with a numerical or technical focus.

Relevant HND subjects such as building/construction, urban and land studies, civil engineering, or structural engineering.
